Skincare Sunday: Emma Hardie Moringa Renewal Treatment Mask

Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing balm is an absolute cult beauty product. I don’t know anybody who has tried it and not loved it, I’m certain that you will find a pot of this cult balm in every skincare guru’s bathroom cabinet. I myself am a huge fan of her skincare products, and find that anything that i’ve tried in the past has truly worked and delivered what it promised.

So, when I was offered the chance to try out the newest launch from the brand, I jumped at the chance.

Is it going to be another cult product?

Emma Hardie herself describes the new mask as “An instant skin drench for stressed, tired skin”. It claims to deeply hydrate the skin, whilst boosting radiance and plumping the skin.

The mask comes in a gold, squeeze tube. Simple yet gorgeous packaging. The consistency of the mask is thick and creamy with a beautiful scent similar to that of the cleansing balm. Although the mask is thick, it doesn’t feel heavy on the skin.

As expected, there are a tonne of active ingredients contained within the mask, including:

  • Moringa Oleifera Seed Oil – which will leave the skin vibrant, smooth and plump. If you use the cleansing balm, you will be familiar.
  • Hyaluronic Acid – to inject some serious moisture and hydration whilst firming the skin.
  • Red Algae – to reduce the appearance of dark spots
  • Amino Acid Derivatives – to brighten, improve clarity and even skin tone.
  • Edelweiss Extract – to promote a soothing effect whilst protecting collagen and inject some antioxidants into the skin.

I followed the instructions on the box which said that the mask should be applied generously to cleansed skin on the face and neck. The box says to leave it on for 10-15 minutes but I tend to leave it on for about 30minutes – I really like to get as many of the ingredients into my skin as possible. I rinsed off with a warm flannel and that’s it.

To ensure optimum absorption, ensure your skin is well prepped before use by cleansing/exfoliating beforehand. The brand recommend using the Moringa Cleansing Balm along with a pinch of their exfoliating rose hips seeds.

The mask can also be used as an intense overnight treatment or can be placed in the fridge before use to get a cooling pick me up.

After use my skin really showed the benefits. My skin was more radiant and the glow I had lost due to dryness and poor diet had returned. Hydration levels had definitely spiked and my skin felt much more plump. My skin loved this mask and it will no doubt feature heavily in my mask rotation over the coming months.

The mask is priced at £49 for 75ml.

Have you tried any of Emma Hardie Skincare products before? What’s your favourite?
