Treating yourself with Chemist 4 U

A little while before Christmas I was kindle offered the chance to work with up and coming online chemist store, Chemist 4 U. I had never heard of the site before but after checking it out initially, I was really impressed with the range of products and brands on offer.

I had been very generously given £30 to spend on the site and I really wanted to see how far that could stretch rather than use it all on one item. This wasn’t difficult. The site is jam packed with bargains! So, what did I pick up?

Splat Face Game

I had wanted to play the infamous pie face game for ages and when I stumbled across this on the site I couldn’t resist picking it up to play with the family over the Christmas holidays! It was a real laugh on Christmas Day watching each of my nearest and dearest getting pied in the face with cream! At just £6.99 this is a total bargain in comparison to the original offering.

Pretty Smooth Eye Gel Patches

I love a good pamper at the weekend so when I found these packs of eye gel patches I decided to stock up. I picked up two packs – one of the snake venom and one of the collagen. You get four gel patches soaked in product per pack for just £4.99. I have tried the Collagen ones already and I love them. They are so cooling and soothing and my puffy eyes had completely diminished after using them! I’ll definitely be repurchasing these.

Elizabeth Arden Green Tea Tropical Perfume

While surfing the brands, I came across this bargain scent for just £10.49 for 100ml! I needed a new day time scent that I could use daily for work rather than deplete my Jo Malone stash. I know that it’s a risky business buying a scent online with no knowledge of what it smells like but I was fortunately presently surprised with my choice! Fresh, clean and tropical, perfect for every day use!

The site does stock a large selection of fragrances for him and her at really excellent prices so I would highly recommend checking it out! Plus they also stock the Victoria’s Secret body mists for a bargain at £8.99!

Elizabeth Arden Hydra Splash Toner

While browsing the other Elizabeth Arden offerings on the site, I spotted this toner (which is since sadly out of stock). I couldn’t believe my eyes when I looked at the price tag and seen that it was just £2.99! I had only got my Pixi Glow Tonic left and was consequently in the market for a new toner. I liked that this toner is alcohol free and therefore shouldn’t strip the skin. I have used it a few times so far and can’t complain. It doesn’t deserve a rave review but it certainly does what it says on the tin!

Argan Oil Hair Mask

The final thing that I picked up was this hair mask to help treat and restore my tresses after all of the over styling through the Christmas period. Unfortunately this too has since sold out but I would imagine similar offerings could be found on the site at other times. This mask was only £2.99 for a huge pot and we all know that argan oil is a miracle worker! Silky smooth hair here I come!

I couldn’t believe how far just £30 stretched on the Chemist 4 U site.

The site stocks a wide range of products from make up to skin care to an actual pharmacy so there’s plenty of deals to be had. The site also houses a “Specials’ tab where you can find some hugely discounted items. All orders over £30.00 qualify for free UK delivery too which is always a welcome bonus.

I’ll definitely be keeping an eye out on what else the site offers throughout the year!

Thanks for reading!

  1. I have never heard of this before but it seems really interesting! At first I thought it was going to be a pharmacy of sorts with home medical remedies etc but now I see that it is not like that at all and more like a medicare filled with make-up, toys and skincare 🙂

PS. Your comment had disappeared but luckily I found your message (and blog address) on my e-mail. Weird!
