New Brand Discovery: Artdeco Cosmetics

Happy New Year my lovelies!! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas period and are suitably struggling to squeeze into your jeans like I am! What better way to start a new year than with a new blog post, featuring a new brand discovery!

As I have mentioned before, one of my favourite things about blogging, is trying out new brands and products. I can even convince myself that i’m doing it for the greater good i.e. sharing it with you all πŸ˜‰

Recently I was lucky enough to try out a few products from German brand Artdeco and I have discovered some real gems.

I had never tried the brand before and if I’m honest, I think that it is a really under rated brand even though it’s stocked at beauty giant Beautybay.

So what’s my verdict on the products I’ve tried so far?

Luminous Skin Stick

This creamy highlight stick is so unlike anything else that I own.

It glides across the face with ease and doesn’t tug on the skin. It is infused with micro fine pearls which deliver a really subtle and natural opalescent glow to the skin. The formulation is so easy to blend and can be worn alone or on top of make up. I like to swipe this stick across my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose to give a healthy, subtle glow to my complexion. The handy twist up stick design means it’s also perfect for touch ups on the go!

Brow Filler

Like almost every other girl, I’m obsessed with brows, always striving for the perfect arch and full voluminous look. This tinted, gel, brow filler adds volume to the brows using fibre particles. The result is light and natural on its own, and perfectly polished if used in conjunction with your usual brow pencil/pomade. The gel fills in any sparse patches in your brows whilst fixing the hairs in place. The gel also conditions the brow hairs which can encourage further growth! It doesn’t smudge or smear and feels really natural on the brows once it has dried down. Definitely one to have in your make up bag!

All in One Eye Primer

Another pleasant surprise was this eyeshadow primer. The light, creamy formula neutralises the skin tone, conceals imperfections and creates a smooth, matte base for shadow application. It is long wearing and really creates a beautiful canvas for your eye looks whilst preventing colours from gathering in the eye crease. A little goes a long way so this little pot is going to last me for a long time! I much prefer this to my trusty MAC paint pot!

Premium Quality Powder Brush

Saving the best product til last, this make up brush is one of the softest I have ever had the pleasure of using. The rounded bristles pick up a perfect amount of product and blend it seamlessly into the skin. It works well with both loose powder and compacts. I have been using it for bronzing the skin or for when I want a bit more of an intense blush. It has absolutely whet my appetite to try more brushes from the brand! The star of the show for me!

Have you tried Artdeco before? What are your favourite products from the brand? Tell me in the comments below!

Thanks for reading.
