Skincare Sunday- Seoulista Beauty Instant Facial Masks

I love a good sheet mask. In fact, they have become a bit of an obession for me. Every time I see new versions, I HAVE to pick them up which has resulted in me having an entire drawer full in my beauty room, catering for any skin emergency.

Needless to say, when these Seoulista Beauty masks landed on my doorstep, I couldn’t wait to try them out!

Seoulista Beauty are a relatively new brand who take their inspiration from Korean skincare innovations, claiming to produce great quality skincare at affordable price points. These bio-cellulose masks are the first launch from the brand and if the subsequent launches are as good as these, then this is one brand you’ll want to keep your eyes on.

Each mask is drenched in 25ml of naturally derived serum (30ml for the brightening mask) which has been created and tested by dermatologists. The masks are strong yet soft and easy to apply.

There are four masks in the range presently:

Super Hydration Instant Facial

Infused with coconut, vitamins and hyaluronic acid, this mask provides intense hydration whilst also nourishing the skin and preventing the signs of ageing. This was the first mask that I tried and it definitely delivered. My skin felt deeply hydrated and plump and looked fresh and radiant. Definitely one to keep in your stash!

Charcoal Detox Instant Facial

This mask is infused with bamboo, charcoal and volcanic ash. It is designed to purify and cleanse the skin whilst eleminating toxins and impurities. After using this mask, Seoulista claim that you will see defined, detoxified skin with a healthy and clear complexion. I haven’t got around to trying this one just yet as my skin hasn’t needed it yet, but as soon as I’m feeling congested, I’m definitely bringing this out.

Correct and Calm Instant Facial

This mask is infused with coconute, witch hazel and eucalyptus to reduce redness and irritations and tackle blemishes and large pores. My skin can suffer from redness and I really found that the ingredients in this mask helped. After using this one, my skin felt smooth, hydrated and calm.

Brightening Instant Facial

Last but not least, this mask is infused with vitamin C, coconut and AHAs. This antioxidant rich formulation is designed to help correct skin tone whilst the AHAs exfoliate the skin and smooth textural issues and Vitmain C works on fading dark spots and pigmentation caused by sun damage. As somebody who over did it in the sun over the years (sorry Mum, I know you told me not to…), this is right up my street to counteract pigmentation issues. Who doesn’t want even, radiant skin?!

The directions suggest leaving each mask on for 20 minutes to get the full effect. I always go a bit further and go for a full 30 minutes if I have time.

For me, the name Instant Facials is perfect as these masks really pack a punch. They’re drenched in product and the ingredients in each mask are really targeted. For just £7.99 a pop, they are definitely something that I would recommend you adding to your stash or weekly routine.

The masks can be found in Gordon’s Chemists and Cara Pharmacy in Northern Ireland. They can also be purchased online from Amazon and Beauty Features.

What are your favourite sheet masks to use? Do you think that they can yeild facial-like results?

Thanks for reading!

  1. I keep saying that I am going to give some facial sheet masks a go but I”m always transported back to my early teens and the cheapy masks you used to get and try with your friends, the ones that burned the face off you or stung like hell and I think I’ve been slightly traumatised by this lol but these look absolutely brilliant! I must check my local Gordon’s and see if I can pick one or two up and try them!

I love the sound of these sheet masks. Charcoal detox for after a busy week of rushing about and eating processed rubbish . Super hydration needed this week though for this 40 something weather beaten bake! Thanks!
