Last week saw the return of my favourite blogging event when the lovely bunch of gals at Alex Silver PR descended on Belfast to host their amazing Kiss Summer Party at The Merchant Hotel.
Last year’s event was my first ever bloggers outing and I remember being so nervous walking in alone. But I needn’t have worried as I was soon put at ease by the wonderful gals I have since had the pleasure of getting to know (I’m looking at you Eyelinerflicks, Dotty Diamond and Passions and Preening– check them out, they be blogging pros!).
Anyway, the party last year had my jaw on the floor with how much the brand and girls spoiled us with cocktails, amazing food and a goodie bag to die for so, I naturally couldn’t wait for this years event.
On arrival we were greeted so warmly by the team at Alex Silver, Alex herself ushered me straight to the bar to pick up a delicious gin bramble before making my way on to the The Merchant’s rooftop to bask in the amazing sun and enjoy the views over the city.
My gal Emma Rose (Legally Brunette NI), who looked UNREAL may I add, and I grabbed a seat with the other blogger babes and had a good catch up as staff from the hotel circulated the room with wonderful food such as fish and chip cones, calamari, chicken bruschetta and ricotta. My mouth is watering again as I type…
Alex continually worked the room, and had me marched to the bar on more than one occasion to ensure that I always had a drink in hand.
Staff from Paddy McGurgan’s Makeup Pro Store were on hand to pamper us all with an extensive array of the stunning Kiss Nails and Lashes. In fact, we were some of the first people to see the newest ranges and styles.
I still had my acrylic nails on from a few weeks ago so was sad that I couldn’t get a new set but I made up for it by getting my lashes done using one of Kiss’ newest ranges, The Lash Couture, Fifth Avenue Collection and boy were they a hit with me! Just look at that flutter!
These faux mink lashes are considered to be the more premium lashes from the brand, and the quality really is impeccable. The band is super fine making the lashes super light to wear and not at all irritating. I was so pleased with the result that I really didn’t want to take them off when I got home!
As like last year, the girls sent us home with a goodie bag of dreams. Packed full of the various Kiss nail and lash products (at least one item from every single range!!) I couldn’t believe how well we had been treated once again.
As we were saying our goodbyes, the girls were still trying to give us more products to take home which meant that I had so many new products, that I just had to share some with you all.
