Sleek have been one of my favourite budget discoveries this year! Their products are super affordable but they don’t skimp on quality. The brand is one of the fastest ever growing beauty brands and it seems like there’s always something new being launched. That being said, I thought I would share some of the most recent launches with you all.
So what’s worth checking out?
If like me, you love a glossy lip but can’t cope with the stickiness of a lipgloss, then these might be for you! These highly pigmented, high impact shine glosses come in an array of colours (11 to be exact) meaning that there’s one to suit every skin tone! What surprised me with these glosses, asides from the lack of sticky goop, was how easy they were to apply. One slick gave a full colour pay off. Perfect for on the go! The shade range is really good with my favourites being Get Free and Hidden Truth. At just £4.99 a pop, I’d really recommend trying them out!
Locked Up Super Precise Lipliner
Sticking with lips, Sleek have also launched a new range of long lasting lip liners. Again, the shade range is vast with 12 shades covering all of the common colour bases. The formulation is super creamy. They don’t drag on the lips at all. The liners are super pigmented too and the slanted tip allows for precise application. The liners last well on the lips but I wouldn’t say they are the most long wearing liners that I’ve ever tried, 3-4 hours wear maximum before top up.. I like the fact that they are pencils that you can sharpen yourself as my experience with self sharpening liners hasn’t been too positive. These too are £4.99 each making them a real bargain.
PWDR Brow Shape and Sculpt Powder Pencil
I was super excited to see these launch as I had been on the market for some new brow products. The texture of these pencils is very interesting as it feels powdery but in a good way. The pencil tip is super precise making it a doddle to create a nice, groomed brow. The formulation is super blendable and it lasts all day once in place. The pencils come in 5 shades which could be expanded in my opinion but there are good options for brunettes. I also would have liked a little spookiest at the end but for the quality of these pencils and their £4.99 price tag, I really shouldn’t complain. I’ll definitely be repurchasing!
Lifeproof 12 Hour Wear Metallic Eyeliner
I was excited to try these new long lasting, metallic liners as they aren’t something that I would ordinarily pick up! I got the shades Part Time Lover (a metallic rose pink), Up to No Good (a metallic silver) and Break and Enter (a deep burgundy). The formulation of these liners really surprised me as they are incredibly creamy. I was convinced on first application that they would smudge and wipe off throughout the day but I was wrong. The colours set down quite dry and didn’t budge throughout the day. These too are £4.99 each and I think they would be perfect for Christmas party looks. Yes. I said the C word.
This oil free foundation is a new but not brand new launch at Sleek. Packed full of hydrating ingredients such as lotus flower and bamboo, my dry skin has been loving this fresh, glowing foundation. Soft focus powders blur pores and help give the illusion of perfect, flawless skin. The coverage is light-medium but can be built up as required. The finish is a semi matte which is my favourite look at the moment. For an affordable brand, the foundation comes in a whopping 24 shades which I was pleasantly surprised about. It wears well on the skin meaning I can wear it to work without needing to touch up too much. At £8.99 I’m really pleased with its performance. Definitely worth checking out.
So there we have it, a quick run down into the new Sleek Make Up launches. Do you like Sleek products? What is your favourite product?
