U.S Drugstore Beauty Wish List

US Drugstore wish list.crest.wetnwild.eos.elf.milani.loreal
Hello everybody!
I can’t believe how quickly this week has flown in. It seems like only yesterday that I wrote my first proper post. One benefit of exceptionally fast moving time is that it’s already time for the second instalment of my holiday wish lists. This week I am sharing what I am coveting most from the U.S. Drugstore….

Crest 3d Whitestrips
I have heard so much about these whitening strips that I simply have to try them. Luckily my teeth aren’t too stained as I don’t smoke and I rarely drink tea etc. I’ve had my teeth professionally whitened years ago, and while the results were great, it’s an expensive habit to keep up. Fortunately, these strips aren’t too expensive (around $40-$70 depending on the formulation you choose) and they seem to give really good results. I’ll be reporting back on these for sure.

EOS Products
The first EOS product that I want to pick up is one of their lip balms. I know i’m extremely late to the party with these little balms but I will be honest, I’m not a religious lip balm user. I have one that sits on my office desk which I’ll apply maybe twice a day, and I have my Eve Lom Kiss Mix that I try to apply at night, but I think I’m just lazy with lip care, which I want to change. I already have the Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask on my Sephora wish list, but these little balms are so popular that I think I really need to try them out for myself to see what all the fuss is about. I’m intrigued by the shape and the look forward to checking out the different flavours. The second EOS product I am coveting is their hand cream. Although I’m not great at keeping up with my lip care, I am a bit OCD when it comes to my hands. The soap in work is somewhat drying, so I always have a hand cream close by on my desk. Truthfully, it is primarily the packaging that has caught my eye with these hand creams as they look super portable and cute. The product is said to be fast absorbing which is something I always look for in a hand cream as I hate the feeling of sticky, greasy hands. The final EOS product I have my eye on is their shave cream. I’m swayed towards the Vanilla Bliss scent for this product as it sounds divine. This product claims to be ultra moisturising, perfect for winter as my legs tend to be a bit more neglected being hidden away in thick tights and winter boots.

Milani Baked Blush
This is another product that I am way behind with. Even though I keep hearing great things about these blushes,I have yet to try anything from the Milani line. I feel that the packaging for a drugstore make up line looks quite luxurious and there is a good selection of colours to choose from. I have seen swatches on other blogs and the pigmentation of these blushes looks incredible. I look forward to seeing if they really are good dupes for the Nars blushes which I adore.

Wet N Wild Eye Shadow Collection & Wet n Wild Megalast Lip Colour
From the Wet n Wild line I primarily want to pick up two items. The first is one of their eye shadow palettes as it is another product I continually see pop up in US beauty hauls and for $4.99 for an 8 shadow palette, it’s a bargain! The second product is one of their liquid lip colours. Shade wise, I will most probably go for some variation of nude (I am a pretty straight laced nude lip kinda gal) but given their affordable price tag ($2.99), if I come across a statement colour that I love, I might pick it up to encourage me out of my comfort zone.

L’Oreal Infallible Makeup Extender Setting Spray
I have seen Tati rave about this product on numerous occasions which quite frankly is enough to persuade me to buy it. I currently rotate a few of the Infallible foundations inmy makeup routine, which I love, so I am excited to add another product from the line to my stash.

Maybelline Colour Tattoo Eye Shadow
I know we can get these shadows in the UK, but the shade range is much larger in the US. I have heard these shadows be compared to MAC paint pots at a fraction of the cost. They are super long wearing and the colour pay off is amazing.

e.l.f. Professional Lip Exfoliator
The final product to make it to my wish list is the e.l.f. lip exfoliator. This product comes conveniently packaged as a lipstick which is what has turned my head. I ordinarily use Lush lip scrub which is great, but can be a pain to get out of the tiny pot and it gets stuck under my nails which freaks me out (am I alone in this?). The e.l.f. lip exfoliator is infused with vitamin E, shea butter, avocado, grape and jojoba oil which indicates it will also be very moisturising and with a price tag of $2.69, it’s another steal!

Please let me know if you have any more drugstore recommendations for me. I will no doubt come back with much more than what’s on this list (don’t we all?), but I would love to hear about what you all like to pick up from the US drugstore?

  2. Nice post! 🙂 I tried Crest whitestrips a year ago or so, they gave good but not long-lasting results… Maybe they will work better for you though! I love to watch Tati’s videos as well, she is my favorite You Tuber! Sometimes I follow her recommendations too 🙂

  3. Milani baked blushes are amazing! And so affordable 🙂 I love EOS lip balms too. Not sure if it’s considered drugstore (it’s Ulta) but Lorac eyeshadow palettes are AMAZING! Also really recommend WetnWild’s matte lipsticks xx
