Hello lovelies!!
I’m a naturally nosey person and love to see which products everybody has stashed in their make up bags. So on that note, this is what I’m currently using…
Face
For priming my skin, I’ve been using my Smashbox Photo Finish Colour Correcting Primer. I have the green version of this primer which minimises redness. I like how this sinks into the skin nicely for a silicone primer and doesn’t leave that oily feeling residue.
For my base I’ve been enjoying my MAC Mineralise Moisture Foundation. This foundation is a cream-gel formulation which is said to blur imperfections and create a radiant satin finish with sheer to medium coverage. Given the fact that my skin gets a little more dry in Winter, the vitamin E and shea butter ingredients have been proving beneficial.
For concealing my under eye area, I’ve switched to the Naked Skin Concealer that I got for Christmas. I really love this product, I blend it using my beauty blender and I’ve found the product is extremely creamy, which feels very moisturising, again good for my drier skin.
For setting my make up I’ve been using the Chanel Les Beiges healthy glow powder. This gives a really natural finish which I love. And everybody loves a bit of Chanel packaging in their make up bags right?
I’ve been feeling a little pasty as we’re in the midst of Winter, so to add a bit of colour to my skin and warm it up, I’ve been using the Hourglass Radiant Bronze Light which is my new favourite bronzer. This is so blendable and buttery smooth, a real dream product to use.
Cheeks
For blush I’ve switched to my Milani blush in Rose D’Oro. This peach toned blusher with a gold shimmer looks beautiful on the skin. I’m a huge fan of these budget blushes!
Even though the Milani blush has a gold shimmer running through it, for the times that I’ve really wanted to amp up the highlight, I’ve been reaching for my Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop.
Eyes
I’ve been using my Becca corrector under my concealer to try to hide the pesky dark circles from not sleeping enough.
For eyeliner I’ve stuck with my trusty Chanel Stylo Yeux long wearing waterproof eyeliner. I use the shade espresso and have been using this solidly for about 4 months, I love it so much. It’s soft with a fine enough tip to create a nice line and it lasts all day when I’m at work. It’s self sharpening too which I much prefer.
For brows, I’ve recently switched to the Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil. I’m still in the early stages of using this product, but I have been finding it pretty difficult to get to grips with. The triangular tip is much thicker than the ABH Brow Whiz I’ve been used to. I’ll persevere and make my final decision this week.
For eye shadow I’ve dug out the Marc Jacobs Lolita palette which has perfect day time shades with a good mixture of matte vs shimmer shades.
Mascara wise I’ve been using my little deluxe sample size of Benefit’s They’re Real which came in the Lashstash set from Sephora (amazing value FYI). I love this mascara. It catches all of my lashes and adds dramatic length.
Lips
My lips have been ridiculously dry this last month, so I have been on a quest to keep them super moisturised. With that in mind, I’ve been layering on the Bite beauty Agave lip mask most mornings. For the times I’ve wanted something lighter on my lips, I put on some EOS balm which smells amazing.
For colour I’ve used Milani liner paired with used I’ve been reaching for MAC Peach Blossom. This is a cremesheen formula which is pretty moisturising and the colour is a lovely peach nude which is my version of a “my lips but better” shade.
What profucts do you all have in your bags?
