Sephora Haul

Hello lovelies!!

If you follow me on Instagram/Snapchat, you would have seen that I have just recently returned from a mini break to Madrid with my Mum and Sister.

We all know it would have been rude of me not to stop by Sephora while I was there, and as per usual, I got a little too spendy when there…

Skincare

Seemingly I was having a real skincare moment when I was in store as I picked up what seems like 3 years worth of various sheet masks:

imageI also came across really interesting cup mask in the Asian beauty section, from a brand called Ettang. This mask is a powder that you add water to to create a rubbery peel off mask. I picked up the Collagen version and really can’t wait to have a go with this. I will definitely report back!

I picked up a little bottle of Sephora’s Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover after having seen so many rave reviews about it. I look forward to putting it through it’s paces.

Originally, I had a tiny sample pot of Glamglow Powermud Mask in my basket, but then the sales assistant pointed out the full sized pot on sale for €30 when I was about to pay €20 for the super tiny pot. Naturally I put the full sized in my basket.

Marc Jacobs Beauty is so difficult to get the hold off in the UK, so I splurged on a bottle of the infamous Re(marc)able Full Cover Foundation Concentrate. This is expensive (my purse actually groaned when I picked it off the shelf, but I think this will last me a really long time – it’s just good economics then, right?

Another cult foundation that caught my eye was the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation.  Again, this is another expensive buy, but i’ve been dying to try this for over a year. I couldn’t wait once I bought it and tried it that night and I definitely wasn’t disappointed. It applied like a dream and my skin looked flawless.

A few of my concealers are starting to run pretty low, so I treated myself to the popular Ultra HD Invisible Cover Concealer from Make Up Forever.

Kat Von D is another cult brand that I had yet to try anything from, so I popped two of her Everlasting Liquid Lipsticks in my basket in the shades Double Dare and Lolita II. I had originally planned on picking up Noble and Bow and Arrow, however, I’m not sure these shades are released in the Europe as they weren’t anywhere on the shade board. (An excuse to place a US order perhaps?).

I also popped the Kat Von D Shade and Light Palette in my basket which is another product I’ve been dying to try. I also couldn’t wait to try it and used the banana shade powder (lyric) to set my under eye concealer and I noticed a huge brightening effect. I can’t wait to play with the palette properly.

The final makeup item that I picked up was one of the Sephora Cream Lip Stains in the shade Infinite Rose which is a satin, golden peach. I bought one of these lip stains on my last jaunt to Sephora last year and I was really impressed with the formula.

Other bits and bobs

Of course I passed through the “aisle of doom” and couldn’t resist some of the minis on offer. I picked up two of Sephora’s own brand little Eau de Toilettes to keep in my bag at work in the scents Peony and Green Tea. I also picked up a little bottle of Sephora’s Illuminating Bronzing Oil to try out as it smelt amazing and it was only €6. Finally, while the sales assistant was ringing in my extortionate haul, I spotted a Sephora Powder make up brush on sale down from €45 to €20 that I couldn’t resist putting in my basket.
