Skincare Sunday – Temple Spa In The Beginning Deep Cleansing Melt

A Sunday well spent brings a week of content. That’s what they say and I’ve been trying to keep that in mind each Sunday in order to gear myself up with the week ahead.

Recently, the amazing team at Temple Spa sent me some amazing skincare goodies to try out including the infamous In The Beginning Deep Cleansing Melt and it has fast become one of my favourite ever cleansers. Yup I said it.

I feel like a I can be a  bit of a cleanser floozy, but each one I’ve fallen in love with over the past year has been for different uses or purposes and this dreamy balm has become my favourite luxury, pamper night cleanser!

As most of you will know, Temple Spa really have become one of my favourite brands recently. There hasn’t been a product from the brand that I have tried and not liked. I love a bit of luxury and this brand oozes it from every product.

Temple Spa describe this product as ‘a facial in a jar’ and I kind of agree.

The cleansing melt is a rich, concentrated balm which melts down to an oil when you massage it into the skin. The balm also contains tiny beads which gently exfoliate the skin before they melt, releasing a moisturising, vitamin rich complex straight into the skin’s layers.

The balm is beautifully scented, but it’s not for the faint-hearted. It is very Spa like and aroma rich making it super relaxing and just perfect for those pamper evenings.

The packaging is simple yet high end with the balm housed in a small pot which comes with a handy spatula for getting the product out which I love. You don’t need a lot of this product, a 5p sized amount of the balm easily cleanses the entire face and neck which means the 60g pot will last a long time.

The ingredient list is impressive but relatively simple and natural with things like Vitamin E, Lavender and Calendula Oil. There are no parabens either which is always a bonus and means it should suit most skin types without irritation.

I personally use this product as a second cleanser, taking my make up off with a micellar water or oil based cleanser first. I don’t see the point in having such a gorgeous product moving old make up around the face. I spend a good few minutes really working the product into my skin and inhaling the aromatherapy scent before rinsing off with a warm flannel. It is a dream to use.

Each time that I’ve used this product I have noticed that my skin is super soft and hydrated. The balm’s ingredients really nourish the skin leaving it plumped and radiant. There’s no tightness, redness or irritation on my skin either. I think this balm would be suitable for most skin types, but those with dry, dull skin would really notice a difference after just one use.

You can pick the balm up here for £30.00 and I personally think it is worth every penny! I can honestly say that I will never be without this product from now on!

Have you tried Temple Spa yet?
