Review: Emma Hardie Midas Touch Revitalising Eye Serum*

Skincare heavyweight, Emma Hardie has recently launched a new eye serum to the Midas Touch family, dubbed a “lightweight yet powerful anti-ageing formula”.

The eyes are the first place on the face that start to show signs of ageing. With that in mind, I try to pay a bit of extra attention to the area as prevention is definitely better than cure.

Over the past year or two, I’ve gotten much better at remembering to apply eye cream at night and I was excited to add this new product to my collection!

So, what are the claims?

The serum claims to lift and tighten the eye contour area, whilst smoothing fine lines, fading dark circles and reducing puffiness all whilst moisturising and promoting anti-ageing. Sounds pretty impressive, right?

What’s in it?

As expected, the ingredient list is impressive.

Hyaluronic Acid replenishes moisture levels deep within the skin which aids any puffiness around the eye area whilst firming and plumping the eye contour area.

Glycofilm creates a protective barrier around the eye area which aids the anti-ageing process by defending the skin from free radicals and environmental agressors.

Omegas 3, 6 and 9 and Raspberry Seed Oil maintain the skin’s elasticity whilst Sweet Almond Oil and Aloe Vera hydrates, cools and soothes the sensitive eye area.

The brand has also utilised their own trademarked ingredient, Beautifeye, an extract from the Persian tree. Beautifeye strengthens the dermal structure, lifting folds and plumping crows feet. It also works to reduce pigmentation, fading dark circles whilst diminishing puffiness. #MiracleIngredient

How do you use it?

In terms of application, you only need a tiny amount of product. In fact, a rule of thumb is that eye cream should be no more than the size of a grain of rice for each eye.

Tap the product gently into the eye contour area whilst blending with your finger and you’re done. I tend to use this in the morning but it can also be used at night!

You can also use the serum around the lip area to boost volume and the appearance of fine lines.

Because so little is needed, this 15ml tube should last a decent amount of time for the £49.00 price tag. I’m in love and will be sure to repurchase when this runs out.
