If you seen my post a little while ago featuring my dry skin hero products, you will have seen a rave review about the Antipodes Aura Honey Mask. If you didn’t see it, why not? Jokes. But it can be viewed here.
Since trying the amazing Aura mask, I have fallen in love with the brand and their products as a whole. Everything is nutrient rich, natural and organic so you are using the best ingredients when using this brand. You can’t not like this brand. Their ethos is very eco friendly, their packaging is fully recyclable and biodegradable. They believe in sustainable cultivation of local ingredients from New Zealand. They’re just all round, good, environmentally friendly, eggs!
In the interests of beauty blogging, I have tried out a number of products from the brand over the past few months and I’m ready to give you all the low down. Spolier alert, I love it all.
It’s no secret that I love a good balm/oil cleanser in the evenings and this product is firmly in my cleanser rotation (yes I’m that high maintenance and have a rotation…). The cleanser is infused with cacoa butter, olive oil, Vinanza grape and soothing lavender and blue chamomile making it perfect for boosting hydration in my seemingly now, dry skin. It has a thick consistency which takes a second to warm up between the fingers. It gives a really gentle, deep clean and breaks down make up with ease. There are little granules in the cleanser that offer a gentle exfoliation too. I like to apply this to a damp face and massage for a minute or two before washing off with a warm flannel. My skin doesn’t feel tight or dry after use and it looks clean and refreshed. A 10/10 for me.
I raved about this in my Dry Skin Heroes Post and for good reason. This super hydrating mask is good for all skin types and delivers intense hydration in just 10-15 minutes! The scent is beautiful and my skin just drinks this product up leaving a radiant glow behind after removal! Manuka honey is one of those hero products that everybody loves and the mask has an incredibly soothing effect making it perfect for those days when your skin really just needs some TLC. I will always have this in my stash going forward.
Resurrect Clarifying Facial Toner
This toner is alcohol free and smells super relaxing. The packaging is a recyclable glass bottle with a pump dispenser. The mist sprays out evenly and doesn’t leave your skin feeling like it has just been drenched after use. I have tended to reach for this toner in the evenings as I find my Temple Spa Toning Essence is perfect for the mornings to refresh my skin and the sweet sage and chamomile scents in this toner is both calming and soothing making it perfect for evening use.
Worship Skin Defence Antioxidant Serum
The first serum that I have tried out has been this antioxidant version. The colour is a bit strange at first but don’t let that put you off. The serum is non sticky and non greasy and sinks deep into the skin within seconds of application. There is no residue left behind at all, making it perfect for when you are in a rush. The serum is packed full of natural antioxidants including kiwi fruit, blackcurrant and Vinanza grape. The scent is gorgeous too, making it a delight to use! Perfect for your daily routine.
Hosanna H2O Intensive Skin Plumping Serum
Another serum that I have been loving has been this intensive moisturising version which also boosts cell renewal. Water based like the antioxidant version, it sinks into the skin with ease and my skin absolutely drinks it up. Prolonged use increases the skin’s texture and overall appearance. I tend to use this serum in the mornings before moisturiser to give myself an extra moisture boost. It too has an odd colour, but the scent is beautiful and fruity.
Avocado Pear Nourishing Night Cream
During the day, I like to use a lighter moisturiser but at night, I pick up a really rich night cream to help my skin regenerate and heal. For me, this cream is the thickest night cream that I have ever tried. It sinks in well to my skin, but does leave a residue behind. So for those who don’t like that feeling, this product won’t be for you. Enriched with a multitude of ingredients including manuka honey, avocado oil and Vitamin E, this cream is deeply hydrating and nourishing. After use, my skin feels super soft and hydrated with any moisture lost throughout the day topped back up overnight.
So there we have it, a delve into Antipodes!
