Hello lovelies! I’ve been trying to streamline the amount that I carry around with me in my bag because (a) my bag gets bloody heavy and (b) I can’t find anything when I need it which kind of defeats the whole purpose of carrying it with you anyway.

However, there are certain staple products that I really can’t do without. These are products that you’re likely to find on me anytime you see me. So what are they?

First up is hand cream. I’ve been suffering with a skin condition lately and the palms of my hands have been horrendously dry and cracked :(. Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula Hand Cream with Vitamin E* to save the day! This handy little travel friendly tube has been a real godsend. It’s a thick, concentrated lotion but absorbs quickly which is perfect for on the go. Since I started using it, my sore hands have been much softer and more manageable. The scent is lovely too and it only costs £2.09 at Boots. BARGAIN!

Another gem from Palmers that is always in my bag is this Coconut Oil Lip Balm*. The tube is super slim and compact which means that it doesn’t take up too much room and the formulation is super creamy and soft on the lips. I’ve been lathering my lips with this several times a day and my lips are silky smooth and nourished. The coconut oil tastes great too.

I have a bit of a thing for scents. I love spritzing myself with perfume or body mists throughout the day to keep myself smelling fresh so it goes without saying that I always carry a little perfume or spritz with me. This perfume oil roller ball* from MOR Boutique’s Little Luxuries line is the perfect handbag companion. I have the scent Blood Orange and it is to die for with base notes of Cedarwood and Green Woods, Top notes of lime, lychee and orange, balances with heart notes of rose, jasmine and ripe berries. The fact that it is a perfume oil is perfect too as the scent lingers on the skin for the longest time and the roller ball means that I’m not half as scared that it will leak all over my beloved bag. I like to match my body products to my perfume where I can so the Little Luxuries line from MOR Boutique also has a mini body butter* in the same Blood Orange scent that I have started to carry around. Because my skin has been such a nightmare recently, when it gets itchy or starts drying out, I simply bring my little pot of body butter out and it saves the day with it’s shea butter, cocoa butter and avocado oil formulation. The fact that the scent matches my perfume is a bonus!

Finally, I have trouble with make up breaking down throughout the day around my tea zone, especially if i’m running around the office like a maniac. My mum got me a cute BareMinerals starter set for Christmas that contained the dinkiest little pot of their cult mineral foundation and mini brush. I use the full size of this foundation quite often so to have a small pot for my handbag and the cute little mini brush for application is perfect. I can touch up my t-zone as needed with absolutely minimal fuss!
