Two Genius Products to add to your Tanning Routine

It’s that time of the year again, and by that time I mean the time when your limbs come out and you only look healthy if you’re boasting a golden glow. Or maybe that’s just me? I’m not fortunate enough to be going on holiday this year (poor me, I know) so I’m relying even more heavily on fake tan than usual.

Recently, I’ve discovered two new products that I have added to my routine and I had to share them with you all!

St Moriz Tan Boosting Facial Serum*

I struggled to find a fake tan that worked on my face without:

(a) clinging to particular areas; or

(b) breaking my skin out.

Nothing seemed to do it and most tans that I used on my face clung to my nose area making me look like I’d burnt it. Not a good look.

This serum from the Advanced Pro St Moriz line is a saviour! Simply add between three and six drops to your regular moisturiser and your skin will develop a golden tan within a few hours. I tend to find that this works best when applied at night, mixed in with my night cream. It doesn’t clog my pores, doesn’t cling in an unsightly matter and gives a super natural golden glow.

I particularly like that the serum can be built up with ease to develop the required colour intensity.

The serum doesn’t alter the consistency of your moisturiser but I would caution to ensure it is well mixed in with the moisturiser before applying to avoid any potential streaks.

St Moriz Tan Remover*

The next product that I have recently discovered is for the end of the tanning process, the removal. I don’t know about you but I hate that horrible period where your lovely tan has worn off but there are a few areas left behind where it hasn’t worn off just as much, leaving a patchy look. I find my underarms and feet to be my issue on this front.

The St Moriz Tan Remover is your best friend in this instance! Simply apply a layer of the mousse to the areas you want to remove the tan from , leave for at least 5 minutes (I aim for 30 minutes) and wash off with a warm flannel and you’re good to go. The remover is gentle and effective at removing tan remnants which eliminates the need for harsh scrubbing on the skin. That being said, I personally combine this step with my trusty exfoliation gloves in the shower and have found that the remainder of last week’s tan comes off with ease.

The formulation is a moisture rich foam to ensure the skin is not stripped or dehydrated, leaving a perfect base for your next tan application!

Both products have an RRP of £9.99 but they are often found for less than that on Feel Unique or at Superdrug and Boots.

Have you tried any products like this before? What were your impressions?

Thanks for reading!
